Brain Bowl members compete as a team in tournaments around the state answering questions about science, math, history, literature, art, and current events. Any student can try out for the Brain Bowl team in the fall as long as they are enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and have a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Any student who earns an official spot on the team will be rewarded with a spring semester scholarship.

Model United Nations (Model UN) is an academic simulation where students step into the shoes of ambassadors from U.N. member states and try to develop solutions to world problems. Student “delegates” research a country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, prepare draft resolutions, debate, plot strategy, negotiate with supporters and adversaries, and learn a simplified version of the parliamentary procedures used in the real United Nations, all with the goal of mobilizing “international cooperation” to resolve problems that affect almost every country on Earth.
